Strong Men Talk - Terms & Conditions (Individual)

 

VIDEO PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
 

This agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on the date of signing ("Effective Date") between:

1. Build Life House Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No: [Insert Number]), whose registered office is at [Insert Address] (the "Producer"); and

2. [Participant’s Full Name], residing at [Participant’s Address] (the "Participant").

1. Purpose

​

The Participant agrees to take part in a recorded interview ("Content") for Build Life House Group Ltd men’s mental health project. The Content will focus on the Participant’s personal journey of overcoming challenges and will be used to inspire and support others facing similar struggles. The final edited video will be published on BuildLifeHouse’s website, social media platforms, and other promotional channels to raise awareness of men’s mental health issues.

2. Compensation

​

• The Participant will receive a one-time payment of £100, payable within 14 days after providing written approval of the final edited video.

• Payment is conditional on the Participant signing off on the final edited video. If the Participant refuses sign-off without reasonable cause (e.g., factual inaccuracies or misrepresentation), the payment will not be issued.

• The Participant acknowledges that this is the full and final compensation, with no entitlement to royalties, future payments, or claims over the Content.

3. Recording, Ownership & Usage Rights

​

• The Producer will record audio and video of the Participant’s interview.

• Once the final edited video is signed off by the Participant, Build Life House Group Ltd will own all rights to the Content in perpetuity.

• The Producer will have the full right to use, edit, publish, distribute, and promote the Content in any format, on any platform, and for any future projects related to men’s mental health.

• The Participant waives any future claims, profits, or control over the Content’s use once it is published.

4. Participant’s Rights and Responsibilities

​

• The Participant confirms they are voluntarily sharing their story and that all statements made are truthful to the best of their knowledge.

• The Participant grants the Producer permission to use their name, likeness, voice, and story for the purpose of raising awareness about men’s mental health.

• The Participant agrees to review the final edited video within 14 days of receiving it and provide written approval before it is published.

• The Participant understands that once the Content is published, it may be widely shared and cannot be fully removed from public access.

5. Confidentiality & Sensitivity

​

• The Producer will handle the Participant’s story with care and sensitivity, acknowledging the personal nature of men’s mental health struggles.

• The Participant may request the removal of specific parts of their story before final sign-off. However, once approved and published, any further edits or removals will be at the discretion of the Producer.

6. Liability & Indemnity

​

• The Participant acknowledges that sharing personal experiences publicly may have unforeseen emotional or reputational consequences.

• The Participant agrees not to hold the Producer liable for any impacts resulting from the publication of the Content.

• The Producer makes no guarantees regarding the public response to the Content once published.

7. Governing Law

​

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
